Everything Employees and Managers need to run daily HR activities — login, attendance, leave, payroll, approvals, and duty rosters.
Welcome to the adamsbridge HCM Portal User Guide
This guide is created for Employees and HODs (Managers) to help them use the HCM portal for daily HR activities. It explains how to manage personal details, attendance, leave, pay slips, and holidays. For managers, it also covers team management tasks such as approvals, reportees monitoring, and duty roster assignments.
Getting Started
The adamsbridge HCM Portal offers multiple secure login options so you can access the system easily and safely.
1.1 Login Page
Open the HCM portal link in your browser — https://hr.adamsbridge.com/
New Employee — Contact your HR team to start your registration. Once your details are added, the Admin/HR team will set up a unified login for you using your official email ID. Your password can be reset after login.

- Enter your Username (Official Email ID).
- Enter your Password, then click Login.
- You will be redirected to your dashboard.

Multifactor Authentication (MFA): When logging in, users must complete a 2-step verification. Two options are available:

- Authenticator App (Recommended): Select Authenticator App and scan the QR code using Google or Microsoft Authenticator. The account is added and a 6-digit code is generated in the app. Enter the code and click Verify to log in.
- Get Code in Email: Select Get Code in Email to receive a 6-digit code in your official email. Enter the code and click Verify to log in.
1.2 Accessing the HRMS Module
To manage employee-related activities, users must enter the HRMS app.
- From the dashboard, locate HRMS under the Standard section.
- Click the HRMS App.
- The Employee Dashboard will load.
Employee Dashboard
The Employee Dashboard is your main workspace to manage profile details, attendance, leave, payroll, and company updates.
2.1 Dashboard Overview

Sidebar access:

- Employee Home — The main dashboard where employees land to see their details and updates.
- Over Time Entry — A section for employees to record or check extra hours worked.
- Employee Resignation — The option for employees to start and track their resignation process.
2.2 Profile Information
Employees can view their personal and employment details by clicking View Profile.

- Go to Employee Home → View Profile.
- Review all details — Personal: Department, designation, reporting manager, date of joining. Basic: Date of birth, gender, marital status, nationality. Contact: Address, personal email, dependent contact. KYC: PF, Bank account, Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, ESI.
- To edit, contact HR.
2.3 Leave Balances
View your leave availability directly from the dashboard.
- Sick Leave (SL)
- Casual Leave (CL)
- Earned Leave (EL)
- Maternity / Paternity Leave / Others
Each leave type shows Availed | Remaining. After clicking Leave Management, you will be redirected to another tab displaying Leave, Regularization, Permission, Compensatory Leave and Over Time Entry.
Leave Tab
Employees can apply for leave through the Leave tab in the dashboard.

- Go to Leave Management → Leave tab.
- Select the Leave Type (e.g., Sick Leave, Casual Leave).
- Choose the Session: FD – Full Day, FH – First Half, SH – Second Half.
- Enter the From Date and To Date.
- The system auto-calculates Total No. of Days.
- Enter the Reason for leave.
- Click Save to submit, or Clear to reset the form.
- Track your requests under the tabs: Applied, Approved, Cancel Request, Rejected Leave.
- You can check eligible, availed, and remaining leave balances before making any action.
Regularization Tab
This tab allows employees to apply for leave and regularize attendance issues (like missed punches or auto-posted LOP).

- Go to Leave Management → Regularization → Apply.
- Select the auto-posted LOP entry (missed check-in/out or biometric error).
- Choose Leave (if absent) or On Duty (if worked but missed punch).
- If choosing Leave, fill out the Leave Application form: select Leave Type (Casual, Sick, etc.), provide the Reason, click Submit.

- If choosing On Duty, fill out the On-Duty Application form: provide the Reason (e.g., client meeting, training), click Submit.

To regularize multiple entries at once, bulk-select the LOP records, choose Leave or On Duty, provide a reason, then click Submit.



Track your requests under the tabs: Applied, Approved, Cancel Request, Cancelled Leave.
Permission Tab
Employees can request Permission hours for short absences during the workday.

- Go to Leave Management → Permission tab.
- Select the Permission Date.
- Enter the Start Time and End Time.
- The system auto-calculates Total Hours.
- Provide the Reason for the request.
- Click Save to submit, or Clear to reset the form.
- Track your requests under Applied, Approved, Cancel Requested, Cancelled Permission tabs.
- Check the eligible hours and balance hours before applying for Permission.
Compensatory Leave Tab
Compensatory Leave (often called Comp-Off) is granted when employees work on weekends, holidays, or beyond regular hours. It allows them to take time off later as compensation for that extra work.

- Go to Leave Management → Compensatory Leave tab.
- Select the Session: FD – Full Day, FH – First Half, SH – Second Half.
- Enter the From Date and To Date.
- The system auto-calculates Total Days.
- Provide the Reason (mandatory).
- Click Save to submit, or Clear to reset the form.
- Track requests under Applied, Approved, Cancel Request, Cancelled CS tabs.
Over Time Entry Tab
Overtime Entry is used to record hours worked beyond regular shift timings. These entries can be approved at multiple levels and may be converted into compensatory offs if applicable.

- Go to Leave Management → Overtime Entry tab.
- Select the OT Date.
- Enter the Start Time and End Time.
- The system calculates Total Working Hours.
- Enter Actual OT Hours and confirm OT Hours.
- Click Save to submit, or Clear to reset the form.
- Track requests under Applied, Cancelled, Level 1 Approved, Level 2 Approved tabs.
2.4 Permissions
Use permissions for short-duration absences.
- View eligible hours and remaining balance.
- Apply permissions instead of full day leave when applicable.
2.5 Attendance & Time Tracking
The Time Tracking feature allows employees to record daily attendance and review monthly summaries.
- View shift timing and work mode.
- Check-in and check-out.
- Track daily work hours.
- View attendance history.
- View the Time Tracking grid on your dashboard to see your current logged-in hours and work mode (Hybrid, Work from Home, or Office).
- Record your first check-in and last check-out for the day. You can check in using biometrics (onsite), the mobile application, or the web application.
Onsite Employees:
- Attendance is captured automatically via Punch In and Punch Out devices.
- Total hours are calculated based on these records.
Hybrid/Remote Employees:
- Click Check-In at the start of your shift from mobile.
- Click Check-Out at the end of your shift.
- The system logs the total hours worked for the day.
A standard shift is 9 hours (e.g., 09:00 to 18:00), but your time is counted based on completing 9 total hours regardless of the exact login time.
Reviewing history: Click "Time Tracking", select a "From" and "To" date range, then click Search to view specific historical attendance records.
2.6 Attendance Summary
Review the Attendance Summary grid for a monthly breakdown of your total working days, present days, paid leaves, and Loss of Pay (LOP). You can view the summary year/month wise.

If you have LOP, regularize it by selecting the Leave/OD option (see Regularization).
2.7 Pay Slip
The Pay Slip tab allows employees to view and download their monthly salary slips. You can access past records anytime for reference.
- Under "Pay slip" you can download salary slips as per the old structure (up to Jan 2026).
- Under "Pay slip V1" you can download salary slips as per the new structure (from Feb 2026).
- Navigate to the Pay Slip page and select the relevant Year and Month.
- Click Generate by entering your password, which is your Date of Birth (e.g., DOB 10/02/2000 → password 10022000).


- Click "Open File" to view or download the slip.
2.8 Resignation
The Resignation tab allows employees to submit and track their resignation request directly through the portal. You can monitor the approval status and exit process updates here.
- Click the Resignation tab and enter the reason for your resignation.
- Click Submit Resignation. This sends the request through the approval hierarchy.

- Use the Status Tracker on the resignation page to monitor the status of approvals.

- To revoke Resignation, click Cancel Request, enter remarks, and save it.

2.9 Celebrations
Displays employee birthdays and work anniversaries.
2.10 Upcoming Holidays
- View upcoming holidays on the dashboard.
- Click View All to see the complete holiday calendar.

Manager (HOD) Dashboard
The Manager (HOD) Dashboard equips managers with tools to oversee their teams, process approvals, and manage shift schedules.
3.1 Profile Panel
Displays the manager's personal details such as name, designation, reporting manager, email, employee ID, and profile picture. Helps identify hierarchy and role.
- View your profile details directly on the panel.
- Click View Profile to open the full profile page.

3.2 Date & Shift Details
Shows the current date, assigned shift timing, work mode (Hybrid/Office/Remote), check-in time, and total hours worked. Tracks your own attendance status for the day.
- View the Time Tracking grid on your dashboard to see your current logged-in hours and work mode.
- Record your first check-in and last check-out for the day using biometrics (onsite), web application, or mobile application.

3.3 Attendance Summary
Provides a monthly breakdown of working days, present days, paid leave, and LOP (Loss of Pay).
- Review the summary to understand your attendance status for the month.
- Use this data to plan leave or permissions accordingly.
- If you have LOP, regularize it by selecting the Leave/OD option.
3.4 Permission Reports
Displays eligible and balance hours for short permissions. Useful for tracking short absences during work hours.
- Review eligible and remaining permission hours.
- Apply for permissions through the Leave Management tab.
3.5 Company Announcements
Shows organizational updates like birthdays, anniversaries, and upcoming holidays. Keeps managers informed about company events.
- Review Today's Celebrations for birthdays/anniversaries.
- Check Upcoming Holidays for planned time-off schedules.
3.6 Reportees Snapshot
The Reportees Grid lists all employees under your reporting hierarchy. It provides a real-time snapshot of their attendance and shift details.
- Open the Reportees section from the Home tab.
- Use the Expand icon to view the full list of reportees.

- Total reportees and a quick summary of how many are present, absent, or on leave.
- Employee details such as name, ID, designation, and assigned shift time.
- Check-in/Check-out status for each employee, with indicators (green for present, red for absent, yellow for leave).
- The clock icon represents time tracking for each employee. When clicked, it opens a detailed preview.

- Employee profile details (name, ID, designation, department, reporting manager, date of joining).
- Shift information (shift type, start and end times).
- Daily punch records (IN/OUT timings, total hours worked).
- Attendance status along with Leave/On-Duty entries.
- Permission hours if any short-time permissions are logged.
3.7 Approval Requests
Snapshot of pending requests (leave, permissions, on-duty, compensatory offs, mobile check-in, resignations). This Approvals tab consolidates all types of requests into one place for easy processing.

- Open the Approvals tab (via Approval Requests → View All).
- Use Filters to narrow down requests by employee, department, or type.
- Select the relevant Request Type tab (Leave, Permission, OD, etc.).
- Review details in the Requests Table.
- Take action: click A (Approve) or R (Reject) for individual requests.

- Use Approve All or Reject All for bulk actions.

3.8 Leave Balance
Displays the manager's own leave entitlements and usage — Eligible (total leave allotted), Availed (leave already taken), and Remaining (balance available). Covers Sick Leave (SL), Casual Leave (CL), and Earned Leave (EL).
Managers can apply for Leave, Regularization, Permission, Compensatory Leave, and Over Time Entry through the Leave Management tab using the same steps described in the Employee Dashboard section.










3.9 Pay Slip
The Payslip tab allows Managers to view and download their monthly salary slips. Access past records anytime for reference.
- Under "Pay slip" download salary slips as per the old structure (up to Jan 2026).
- Under "Pay slip V1" download salary slips as per the new structure (from Feb 2026).
- Go to the Pay Slip page and select the relevant Year and Month.
- Click Generate by entering your password (Date of Birth, e.g., 10/02/2000 → 10022000).


- Click "Open File" to view or download the slip.
3.10 Resignation
Allows Managers to submit and track their resignation request directly through the portal.
- Click the Resignation tab and enter the reason for your resignation.
- Click Submit Resignation. This sends the request through the approval hierarchy.

- Use the Status Tracker on the resignation page to monitor the status of approvals.

- To revoke Resignation, click Cancel Request, enter remarks, and save it.

3.11 Duty Roster
Managers assign and manage employee shifts for a selected date range. It ensures proper scheduling and coverage across departments and branches.

- Open the Duty Roster tab from the main navigation. This section is specifically for scheduling shifts for employees under your hierarchy.
- Select the Date Range using the From Date and To Date fields (e.g., 26-Jan-2026 to 25-Feb-2026).
- Choose Department, Branch, and Designation from the dropdown menus.
- Enter Employee Name (type at least 2 letters). The system will auto-suggest matching employees.
- Select Shift and Category from the dropdown. Shifts could be General (GN), Night, or other options. Categories may include WO (Week Off), PH (Public Holiday), Others (Shift).
- Generate the Duty Roster by clicking Generate. The system will populate the roster grid.
- Save, Cancel, or Delete the roster: Save confirms and applies it, Cancel discards changes before saving, Delete removes an existing roster if no longer needed.
Help & Support
- Always ensure mandatory fields are filled before submitting requests.
- Use Regularization promptly to avoid payroll deductions.
- If requests don't reflect under Applied or Approved, refresh or re-login.
